Was wondering if you know of any professionals teaching orientation and mobility and daily living skills or have heard of someone like that who travels to other countries to give private lessons to blind students or helps them aquire this in the country they live in? If you think you can help me, please email me at:

please don't post any replies on that here.

I'm going to reply anyway, just because I can't really be bothered to open up my email app to respond. Anyway, all I was going to say is: There are certainly people who teach orientation and mobility or daily living skills, (sometimes both if they have the certification for it), but i have never heard of anyone traveling internationally to teach. I'm sure there are different requirements to work and teach outside the US, but I have not met anyone personally who has moved to another country to teach blind people. Not saying it can't be done, just saying I don't know anyone off the top of my head. Good question.

yeah I have to agree but I suggest that you contact your local blind organisation your with and ask them if you've not done that already or to look online, I had to respond because the last poster had given a good answer to your question.

just be aware if you do post some thing on the boards people are going to respond whether you want them to or not.
